With Mobistore’s Intercity Self Move service you get to move yourself without the big price tag. Plus we throw in 1 month FREE storage (if needed). 

We bring a MobiBOX (or several) directly to your house, You get 2 hours per MobiBOX to load your items inside and then we transport them to our storage facility. You can enjoy up to 1 month free storage, then let us know when you want us to transport to your new home and we’ll meet you there with your MobiBOXES for you to self unload.

We DELIVER – A MobiBOX to your place and wait while you load your items inside

We STORE – Once loaded, we transport your MobiBOX to our storage facility for you to enjoy 1 month FREE storage (if you need longer, our standard competitive monthly rates apply)

We TRANSPORT – When you are ready to receive your items at your new house, we transport them INTERCITY and wait while you unload.

Need to move up to 40m3?
With traditional truck hire you would need to make two Intercity trips or have a Class 2 drivers license.
With Mobistore’s Intercity Self Move we do the driving for you.

Need self storage between your move?
With traditional truck hire you will need to load your items in & out of the truck to get to the storage facility, then the same again when you want to transport Intercity.
With Mobistore’s Intercity Move, you load your items into the MobiBOX at your house, we transport to storage, give you 1 month free storage, then when you want to move Intercity we’ll meet you at your new house.

Want a fixed price with all kilometres & fuel included?
With traditional truck hire you pay ontop of your rental for the Km’s travelled & the diesel you use.
With Mobistore’s Intercity Self Move, we provide a fixed price with no hidden costs or bad surprises!

Our Intercity Self Move MobiBOX internal dimensions are: 2.4m(L) x 1.70m(W) x 2.4m(H)

As a general rule of thumb we say to allow one MobiBOX per bedroom of your house. If you have a 3 bedroom house your items (furniture, whiteware and personal contents) will indicatively fit inside three MobiBOXES.

We can transport up to four MobiBOXES (40m3) Intercity as part of your move.

Once you’ve loaded your MobiBOX, our driver will provide you with a unique padlock to secure it.
